Drink Segment: Copper Cannon white Rum

 

Spicy Watermelon Daiquiri

2 oz Chili Infused rum
1oz Watermelon syrup
1oz Lime Juice

 

Watermelon Syrup:   

Puree and strain watermelon in a blender

Measure the strained liquid and add half as much sugar by volume.



Buzzard Bites

Ingredients

3lb ground turkey
1 ½ cups bread crumbs
1 ½ heaping cups crumbled cooked bacon
3 eggs
6 Tbs onion powder
6 Tbs garlic powder

Sauce

2 cups apple cider
1 ½ cups ketchup
¾ cup balsamic vinegar
Generous pinch each salt, pepper, nutmeg

Recipe

Preheat oven to 375F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients and mix until evenly distributed.
Form into small meatballs, roughly golf ball size.
Place on baking sheet, spaces 1 ½ inches apart.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until no longer pink in the middle.

Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan.
Simmer for about 30 minutes, or until thickened.
Remove from heat and add the meatballs. Stirring to make sure they are all covered.
