Today on the Grow Show Kyle Kushman is joined by Adam Eidinger, founder of the DC Cannabis Campaign, DCMJ.org, and political activist. Adam spearheaded the passing of Initiative 71 which legalized the recreational use of marijuana in Washington DC, and is now pushing for the federal government to reschedule cannabis.
Adam’s organization uses very public displays of civil disobedience to draw attention to the cause, including events that involved the parading of a 51-foot inflatable joint on the streets of DC, as well as a marijuana clone and seed share right in front of the White House. Today we’re going to talk to him about those recent demonstrations as well as what you should know before participating in acts civil disobedience yourself.
