
Leo Barbe was shot twice in Montreal and left for dead in an alleyway at 21; that night changed Leo’s life forever. A mailman eventually found him hours later and ended up saving his life. After almost two years of difficult recovery, Leo heard Martin Luther King Jr's last speech sparking something inside of him. In 2009, he created a national non-profit organization that has provided award-winning custom programming and motivational presentations for students and teachers. He has spoken to over 1.5 million students all across Canada and the United States with his message reaching 69 countries worldwide. Leo has travelled the world and has worked with large companies to empower the future generation. In this episode, Leo sits down with Matthew via Zoom to discuss his organization, the importance of staying true to yourself, the hatred that social media brings, ways to improve your emotional intelligence as well as ways to cope with your mental health.
