The Danger of the Prosperity Gospel

In this episode, I talk about a message that is popular but deeply misleading. The prosperity gospel teaches that God’s main goal is to give us wealth, comfort, and success. But that is not the message Jesus preached.

This episode explores how this teaching misrepresents the heart of the gospel, leads to false expectations, and causes many to walk away from God when life does not turn out the way they hoped. The true gospel calls us to surrender, to take up our cross, and to follow Jesus daily.

God may bless us with material things, but His ultimate goal is not to make us rich. His goal is to make us like Christ.
