Our world is filled with so much evil and sadness that it makes me want to run for the hills and hide my kids from having to encounter any of it! However, that's not what we are called to do. I believe parenting takes on different stages as our kids age. We are called to first shield, then protect, and then teach our kids to fight (or discern) the world around them. So how do we do this while protecting their hearts and minds? How do we teach our kids to discern the voice of God from the voice of the world?
