RAK: No close relationship can exist without trust between the two individuals involved. Once trust is broken, so is the relationship. This is why God permits divorce when adultery occurs - the trust between the man and his wife is broken. So, before you take a person as a true friend whom you can always rely on, carefully observe his/her speech over a significant period of time to find out if he/she lies to you or other people - if he/she lies to others, he/she will eventually lie to you. Also, if he/she lies about little things, he/she will lie about big things.
