The Gospel In Black & White Show is a podcast started by Cody Moulton and Lenny Escobar (together forming your CoLen) to share some LDS gospel insights and perspectives from their different backgrounds, hence the title "In Black & White." Also, Lenny's a black guy and Cody's a white guy...but the real focus here is on perspective. They hope to inspire listeners to have frequent, natural conversations about God as a normal part of their lives and in their own unique way, exploring and sharing their perspective on the truths of the gospel.
Cody and Lenny served their LDS missions together in Pittsburgh, PA. The two became very good friends as they worked as companions, serving the good people of PA. Since they've been back from their missions (2013-early 2014), they've made an effort to stay in contact. Whenever they would talk over the phone, they would end up getting into these extensive spiritual discussions about what they are studying in the scriptures and how it could apply to their lives with their challenges.
That's pretty much where the idea for this podcast came from. Cody and Lenny want to share this experience with others and help them see how easy and spiritually constructive it is to have normal, chill conversations about God and our friend, brother, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Plus, they want to show the world how fun those conversations can be when they become natural, even if you don't consider yourself religious.

Hey hey hey you bunch of rapscallions, welcome to Springtime! Today’s episode asks a question we’ve all probably thought about to some degree or from some angle, at the very least: are friends / family / people who live the gospel on the “edge” of the line receiving the same blessings as those who are not? There’s a lot of ways to live the gospel, but there are assured blessings for obeying the Lord. This episode explores that topic and our place regarding how we and others live the gospel. Do send in your next questions for us to explore!—Twitter & Facebook: @iBWpodcastEmail Us: inblackandwhitepodcast@gmail.comWebsite: www.iBWpodcast.com
