Kresse Wesling - Her journey in rescuing waste from landfill

In this episode of The Goods Podcast we chatted to Kresse Wesling of sustainable and luxury bag brand Elvis and Kresse, back in July. Tune in to hear all about how the brand was born from her love of waste and determination to solve one of these waste streams.

Kresse explains how she fell in love with decommissioned fire hose and initially had no idea what she would do with it but she knew that the material was too good to die in landfill.

We discuss the systemic problems within the fashion industry and she talks about how she felt compelled to act and create a business that did better. She’s super passionate about her cause and is a true example for the fashion industry that being a sustainable business within the space is possible.

Grab your headphones, get comfy and get ready for your daily dose of inspo. Hope you enjoy listening to this one as much as we enjoyed recording it!
