Ep.9 - Mark Harris and the Trendy Hormone
This month we're delighted to be joined by male midwife, author of 'Men, Love & Birth', founder of Birthing4Blokes, father of six and grandfather of nine, Mark Harris. As well as answering your questions (and debunking some myths) about pregnancy and birth, Mark tells us how in his early days his patients would mistake him for the hospital security guard as well as what oxytocin is and why it's so crucial to the birthing process. We also find out why he thinks that the concept of 'averages' is a load of bollocks and how at one stage he and is wife dealt with having five children under the age of six!! Meanwhile, Seth reflects back on his experience of joint parental leave and Jamie finally gets to grips with the importance of the 'routine'. Enjoy! Follow us on Twitter & Instagram - @gooddadugly Artwork - Nick Haill Sound Design & Music - Benji Elimelech Producer - Tom Sabbadini And if you like what we're doing please share, rate and review. Thanks for listening!
