Hello, and welcome to another episode of The Good, The Bad, and The What!? The show in which we discuss three films that we have deemed "good," "bad," or "what!?" within a subgenre, theme, motif, director or actor's filmography, and more!
This week, in honor of Zach Cregger's newest film "Weapons," Chris, Jordan, and Ryan dive into three comedy films that star our current mainstream horror auteur darlings. First, we discuss 2003's "Quigley", a movie like no other, that stars Gary Busey as a curmudgeon who is reincarnated as a dog, and co-stars "Longlegs" and "The Blackcoat's Daughter" filmmaker Osgood Perkins. Then, as you may have read, many trades have been calling "Weapons" Cregger's sophomore feature. Well... that is not true. It's actually his third, because his first was the infamous "Miss March" from 2009, along with fellow "Whitest Kids U Know" founder, the late Trevor Moore. We discuss that film at length, and then finish with 2016's "Keanu," the star vehicle of Key & Peele just a year before Jordan Peele released "Get Out."
