Get Up Again!

New Episode: Get Up Again (Ezekiel 37:1–10)

Have you ever felt like parts of your life, faith, or calling have gone dry? In this episode, Get Up Again, I draw from Ezekiel 37:1–10—the valley of dry bones—to reveal God’s power to breathe life back into what seems lifeless.

We talk about how spiritual gifts are not just for show but are vital tools for engaging in spiritual matters. As children of God, we are called to awaken these gifts, sharpen them, and use them to walk in victory and purpose.

This message is a reminder that no matter how scattered or silent things may seem, the Spirit of God can cause you to rise again. It’s time to stir up what’s within you, speak life into your destiny, and get up again!

The Ministry of Reconciliation (Easter Message)

TEXT: John 6:34 - 58

“The Ministry of Reconciliation,” anchored in John 6:34–58, where Jesus declares:

“I am the Bread of Life… whoever eats of this bread will live forever.”

In this passage, we see more than just an invitation to eternal life — we see the mission of Christ to reconcile mankind back to God through His body and blood. The cross wasn't just an act of love; it was a divine assignment of reconciliation.

Through this message, you’ll discover that:

  • Jesus is the living bread sent from heaven to bridge the gap between God and humanity.
  • The resurrection is the ultimate seal of reconciliation — proof that we’ve been brought near.
  • As believers, we’re not just recipients of reconciliation; we are now ministers of it (2 Corinthians 5:18).

This Easter, let this truth anchor your soul:
Jesus gave His life so we could be one with the Father again.

You’ve been reconciled to God through Christ. Now go and reconcile others. Share His love. Live His truth. And remember — the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you.

Shalom.

A Cry for Mercy and Restoration

Episode Summary – Daniel 9:1–19:

In Daniel 9:1–19, we witness a powerful moment of intercession. Daniel, after reading the prophecy of Jeremiah, realizes the time has come for Israel’s restoration—but instead of sitting back and waiting, he turns to God in fasting, prayer, and deep repentance.

Daniel doesn’t pray just for himself—he prays on behalf of an entire nation, owning their sin and pleading for mercy. This prayer shows us the heart of a true intercessor: humble, broken, and bold before God.

Key Takeaways:

 1. Prayer That Moves Heaven Begins With the Word (v.2-3)
Daniel’s prayer started with understanding the Scriptures. When God’s Word is our foundation, our prayers align with His will.

 2. Repentance Prepares the Way for Restoration (v.4-14)
Daniel confesses the sins of Israel with sincerity and humility. He acknowledges that their exile is the result of disobedience, but he clings to God's mercy.

 3. God's Mercy Is Not Based on Our Righteousness (v.18)
"We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy." — This is the good news! God’s mercy flows from who He is, not what we’ve done.

 4. Bold Faith Pleads for God’s Name and Glory (v.17-19)
Daniel calls on God to act “for Your own sake.” Even in desperation, he’s focused on God’s glory, not personal comfort.

Final Thought

Like Daniel, we must be willing to stand in the gap—for our families, our churches, our nations. When we humble ourselves, confess, and seek God’s face, He hears, He forgives, and He restores.

 Declare today:
"Lord, we come not by our righteousness, but by Your mercy. Heal us. Restore us. For Your name’s sake!"

The Power of Humility

TEXT: 1 Kings 21: 1 - 29

Kings 21 tells the story of King Ahab, Queen Jezebel, and Naboth’s vineyard. Ahab desired Naboth’s vineyard, but Naboth refused to sell it because it was his ancestral inheritance. Jezebel then plotted Naboth’s wrongful execution, and Ahab took possession of the land. However, God sent the prophet Elijah to confront Ahab, declaring severe judgment upon him and his household for this wicked act.

Yet, something remarkable happens—when Ahab humbles himself before God in repentance, God delays His judgment, showing mercy in response to humility.

🔹 1. Humility Attracts God's Mercy (1 Kings 21:27-29)
Despite his wickedness, when Ahab tore his clothes, fasted, and humbled himself, God acknowledged his repentance and postponed the punishment. This shows that no one is beyond God’s mercy when they humble themselves before Him.

🔹 2. Pride Leads to Destruction, Humility Leads to Grace
Ahab's initial arrogance and Jezebel’s scheming led to severe consequences. However, when Ahab repented, he experienced God’s patience. This reminds us that pride brings judgment, but humility opens the door to grace and restoration.

🔹 3. True Humility Requires Action
Ahab didn’t just say he was sorry; he demonstrated humility by mourning and fasting. True humility is not just words—it’s a change of heart that leads to action.

No matter how far we’ve gone, God is always ready to respond to a humble heart. When we surrender, He restores. When we bow before Him, He lifts us up. Humility is the key to receiving God’s mercy and favor.

THE GOOD NEWS WITH UZO OACHI
YOU HAVE BEEN SET FREE

TEXT: Colossians 2

So many believers walk around carrying burdens they no longer have to bear. Guilt, shame, fear, and human traditions often keep us bound, even when Christ has already set us free. But the truth is this: in Christ, we have been completely set free!

Paul reminds us that just as we received Christ, we must continue in Him—rooted, built up, and strengthened in faith. The enemy’s strategy is to make us doubt our freedom in Christ by keeping us distracted with rules, regulations, and human philosophies. But the foundation of our freedom is simple: JESUS.

"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ." (Colossians 2:8)

The world will try to enslave you with false teachings, making you feel like you need to earn your salvation or prove your worth. But in Christ, you are already complete (Colossians 2:10). He has given you everything you need to walk in victory!

Before Christ, we were dead in sin. But through His sacrifice, He canceled the written code that stood against us. Every accusation, every sin, every mistake—wiped away! You are no longer condemned. You are forgiven and free.

The enemy thought he had won, but through the cross, Jesus disarmed every power and authority against us. He triumphed over them, making a public spectacle of their defeat! This means you don’t have to live in fear, bondage, or defeat—you walk in victory!

Stop living like a prisoner when the chains have already been broken. Walk boldly in the truth that you are free in Christ! No more guilt, no more condemnation—just grace, victory, and a life rooted in Him.

🙌🏾 Declare this today:
"I have been set free in Christ. My sins are forgiven, my past is erased, and I walk in victory every day!" 🔥

God's Promise on Restoration

TEXT: Amos 9

Amos 9 begins with a vision of God's judgment, emphasizing His sovereign power and the inescapable consequences of sin. Yet, amidst this solemn warning, the chapter ends with a beautiful promise of restoration and hope.

God declares that He will not utterly destroy His people but will sift them, preserving a faithful remnant. In the closing verses (Amos 9:11-15), God promises to rebuild the fallen house of David, restore the land, and bless His people with abundance and peace. This restoration symbolizes not just physical renewal but also spiritual revival, demonstrating God's unwavering faithfulness to His covenant.

Amos 9 reminds us that while God's justice is real, His mercy and grace are greater, offering us hope and a future through His redemptive power.

This week on my podcast, The Good News with Uzo Oachi, we dive deep into what it means to truly wait on God with patience and trust. Join me as we explore this message of faith and surrender.

WHOLENESS IN CHRIST

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it." –

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

This beautiful passage reminds us that God’s desire for us is wholeness in every aspect of our being—spirit, soul, and body. He is not just the God of our spirit but of our entire self, working faithfully to make us whole and blameless. This isn’t something we achieve alone; God Himself, who called us, is committed to completing the work He began in us. 🙌🏾

Let this promise bring you peace and assurance today, knowing that He is faithful to see us through!

TRUST GOD

TEXT: Exodus 32

"Sometimes, we pray and ask God for something, and it feels like the answer is taking forever. But God's timing is always perfect, even when it doesn't match our own. Trusting His timing means having faith that He knows what’s best for us and that His plan is always greater than ours. Keep the faith and remember—delay is not denial!

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT GOD IS GOD

TEXT: Isaiah 6

Do you know that sometimes we inadvertently get used to God? We know that God is God and God is good, but we sometimes forget the nature and power of the God in question.

The description of the presence of God in Isaiah 6 reminds us of the God that we love and call on; the Seraphim, the smoke, the worship, the shaking. If we can but behold the atmosphere in which our God dwells, then we would truly rest and hold our peace when we read the scripture that says "Be Still and know that I am God.

THE LORD, YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU!

TEXT: Deuteronomy 1: 19 - 46

Walking with God requires FAITH.

Today, the Holy Spirit is teaching us to recognize His voice when He speaks to us. Without faith, the bible says it is impossible to please God. Subsequently, we can say that without faith it is impossible to work or walk with God. When you have faith, it becomes easier to obey an instruction of a command.

THE GOD WHO RESTORES

TEXT: JOB 42

Have you ever lost something that was precious to you? Have you ever been in a situation when you felt abandoned and rejected?

There was a certain man in the bible, his name was Job. He loved God with all his heart. God loved him so much, and never took His eyes off him for a second. Job lost all he had. Everything. Yet God was with him.

Often times, when we go through tough times, we feel forgotten and abandoned. But can God ever forget us? No, never.

GOD CAN USE YOU

TEXT: ACTS 9: 1 - 30

There is a preacher in everyone, including you. Yes, you!

Saul never would have imagined himself as a soul winner for Christ, but when he had his encounter with the one whom he persecuted, he found himself doing the very thing that he had been fighting against, winning souls for God.

If God can use Saul (who later became Paul), then He can use anyone.
