The G.I.M.S Podcast is to create a platform for black Christian women who work a 9-5 job, have a side hustle or aspiring entrepreneur and may be in ministry to have a podcast that speaks to the everyday life struggles and successes that us as women face. The G.I.M.S podcast is to empower the Christian woman to have a true authentic relationship with God by being honest and transparent about the pain that she has faced and how she tapped into the supernatural strength of God in order to become victorious. The focus of the podcast is to bridge the gap between faith and culture (Hip Hop/ different genres of music, film/ television, fashion, and social media) by speaking to societal & relational issues that we face and tie those experiences back to the principles of the gospel.

In today’s episode, Latrice speaks on the topic “How to live an authentic life in your Christian walk.” Latrice touches on this topic because she wants to help those who are struggling with being their authentic self while a believer, and how God accepts them as they are. She shares with the listener that once they become confident with their authentic nature first with God; then they can be a true expression of living authentic in the Earth.

Objective:
The objective of today’s episode is to expose the problem areas that may be
hinder your authenticity within your walk with God.

Problem areas with God:
1. You struggle within your identity.
2. You have a hard time at being consistent with the things you have committed to
God.
3. You have a hard time at obedient with the things you committed to God.
4. You may struggle with knowing God’s views on things that make you, you.
5. You may struggle with knowing what it looks to have an authentic relationship
with God.
