In this episode, Caroline and featured guest Mrs. Karin Greenberg, Caroline’s mentor and the Librarian/Literary Magazine/Literature Club Advisor at her high school, discuss how the roles of social + digital media have been changed by our even stronger reliance on the internet amidst the pandemic. Some speaking points include describing how students and teachers have been able to effectively learn and communicate via digital media (i.e. zoom, canvas), discussing the importance of being well-informed and knowing how to effectively research info/news on the internet, as well as talking about some of the ways that people can enrich their lives through digital media such as ebooks, podcasts, and virtual museum tours. We also incorporate themes of literature/books and digital literacy into this podcast episode.
