This is the first episode in this year's exclusive 5-part mini series in the run up to Worcester Film Festival 2025. During the series Marcus will be speaking with filmmakers whose films will be screened at this year's festival as well as the organisers themselves.
In the first episode, Marcus had a conversation with writer and director, Jonny Durgan.
Jonny's short drama, "G.S.W.", is a super tense film set in the back of an ambulance as two paramedics tend to a gunshot victim.
G.S.W. is Jonny's second short film and is a real masterclass in quickly cranking up tension in a short period of time.
During the conversation Jonny and Marcus chat about the inspiration behind the film, how Jonny found the filming experience and what his future filmmaking aspirations are.
G.S.W. will be screened at Worcester Film Festival on Saturday 27th September 2025 at 10am.
