"The Amazing Race" with Phil Keoghan - Episode 74 Show - "The Game Show"

If you want talk, games and fun all rolled into one, well, you've come to the right place. Welcome to "The Game Show", the talk show all about the world of television game and competition shows. On each episode, host Bradley Clarke discusses a topic pertaining to the television genre he knows and loves. Plus, to add to the conversation, Bradley will be joined by a special guest who is knowledgeable in the episode's topic. Every episode of "The Game Show" also features an original game played by the special guest during the "Game of the Day" segment, and to close out the show, Bradley performs his “Bradley Parody”, an original parody song that has a connection with the episode. If you’ve ever dreamed of getting a ‘10’ from the late, great Len Goodman on “Dancing with the Stars”, "The Game Show" is a program you will definitely enjoy. On this episode, the seventy-fourth in the series, Bradley gets the opportunity of a lifetime to interview another one of his hosting heroes. In 2001, at the Bethesda Fountain in New York City’s Central Park, Bradley’s guest said “Go” for the very first time, allowing eleven teams to begin the inaugural season of “The Amazing Race”, and for over two decades, he has been traveling around the world explaining various “Detours” and “Road Blocks” to viewers, and telling teams that they are “Team Number One” or, unfortunately, “You’re the last team to arrive”. He is the host of “The Amazing Race”, the Philiminator himself, Phil Keoghan. During their conversation, Phil tells Bradley some behind the scenes information about the filming of the first Starting Line, which includes the story of how “The World Is Waiting For You” and the raised eyebrow became iconic elements of the show, and Phil also shares his thoughts on some of the twists that the show has implemented over the years. Then, for the “Game of the Day”, Phil gets the chance to go globetrotting in a different way, as he travels from continent to continent via “Amazing Race” trivia questions during the playing of “Continental Divide”, and during the game, Phil reveals how the Pit Stop mat once went missing, and why the Pit Stop light box is not used on location anymore. Plus, for this episode's "Bradley Parody", the Bradster performs a parody song all about the goal of each “Amazing Race” team, and that is to find Phil at the Pit Stop mat as fast as possible. To the tune of “Run to You” by Bryan Adams, “Bradley Parody” number twenty-five is called “Run to Phil”. Enjoy!
