The Game is the Game is an opportunity for them to tell their stories and hopefully inspire others to find their calling. On this episode I sit down with Carl Anka. Carl Anka is a journalist for The Athletic and a best selling author having co-authored two books with Marcus Rashford You Are A Champion was WHSmith’s Book of the Year in 2021, and was the number one bestselling children’s book. That said most probably know Carl Anka as a football journalist who covers Manchester United but his story is so much more than football journalism. The goal was never to end up in the field and his career journey has not followed a conventional or linear path.
