In the spring of 2023 Curling Canada and its member associations partnered to deliver a series of symposiums focused on The Future of Curling. Participants were challenged to think big, become comfortable being uncomfortable, gain confidence in new ideas, lead, or to be the first to embrace the lead of others when detractors say "that will never work." Together, subject matter experts and grassroots curling champions dared to recognize that what got us here is not going to get us to where we want to go next. Now you too can reimagine curling by listening to The Future of Curling Masterclasses.

Marketing the Future of Curling (with Jeph Maystruck)

You are listening to The Future of Curling Masterclasses presented by Curling Canada, with support from the World Curling Federation’s Development Assistance Program.

In this episode we explore why people should care about your brand, how to get people to care about your next curling experience, what’s changed in our world of no attention span, and the way you look at marketing, including the use of new tools – even if it seems scary at first…

This masterclass is presented by Jeph Maystruck. Jeph has an utter disregard for the status quo. He gives keynotes regularly on marketing and social media, and runs a marketing company out of Regina called Strategy Lab. Outside of “work” Jeph co-founded Big Idea Camp, co-founded The Honest Conference, and has taught Marketing at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Social Media at the University of Regina. Jeph has published over 100 songs on Soundcloud (his DJ name is DJ Clumsy Vegetarian) but his greatest achievement in life so far has been fatherhood.
