THE FULL-TIME WHITTLE PODCAST: WIGAN ATHLETIC HEAD OF ACADEMY GREGOR RIOCH

The Wigan Athletic Supporters Mental Health Group are proud to be premiering a 'Virtual Fans Q+A Session' with the Latics' Head of Academy Gregor Rioch.

Gregor provided an excellent insight into his work at the Wigan Athletic academy since he joined back in 2013 and opened up about the difficult challenges that the club has faced over the last 12 months due to the coronavirus pandemic and the club's ongoing administration.

The 45-year-old also gave some inspirational advice to anyone who may be struggling with their own mental wellbeing.

If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, you can get help here:

- Samaritans operates a 24-hour service available every day of the year, by calling 116 123. If you prefer to write down how you're feeling, or if you're worried about being overheard on the phone, you can email Samaritans at jo@samaritans.org

-Empathy North West is a non-profit organisation based in Wigan that offers therapeutic intervention to individuals, couples, families, and children. They offer confidential counseling to individuals or groups that are tailored to suit your needs. You can contact them by calling 0303 303 1333 or emailing empathynorthwest@outlook.com
