What is Melbourne Meeples? We are a Not-For-Profit Organisation who runs board game events all around Victoria. As such, we set our eyes and hands on a lot of different board games, and we want to share what we know with you! We know, there are lots of people out there already talking about board games, but we noticed that not many people are talking about how friendly games are for people who are Neurodiverse or who have disabilities, such as Colour-Blindness. So, we break it down, give you some tips to make the game more friendly, bringing along our significant others, friends and even members, as well as many other special guests, to talk about it.

Join Jen Florez and Chris Ingold, back from his holiday, and our special guest - the one and only Jack Nolan. Jack is an escape room and game designer based in Melbourne and Chris and I were lucky enough to pick his brains about his exciting new project. Earthrise - Star Crew will be a Star Trek inspired, hugely immersive experience in Melbourne. The project has just been launched on Kickstarter, has already hit its initial funding target, and sounds like it’s going to be really special.
We also had a great time discussing a bunch of newly arrived games from local Melbourne designers that have all fulfilled their Kickstarter campaigns in quick succession. From traffic-themed word association to monsters hiding in the bush to other forest creatures just hiding their lunch we have some amazing games to discuss! This is an episode that you really don’t want to miss.
