Welcome to this episode of Framlingham College ‘In Conversation’. October is Black History Month, and in celebration of this we have been releasing a special series of podcasts dedicated to five influential people of colour to promote and celebrate their contributions to society, and to raise awareness of black history in general.
In our final episode of this special series, we’ll be joined by Year 12 pupils, Daniel A and Nicholas W, who will be talking about “the mother of the civil rights movement” who is best known for her pivotal role in the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott, Rosa Parks.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this special series of podcasts for Black History Month. To learn more about other influential and inspirational people of colour, visit blackhistorymonth.org.uk.
