Siân is a dear friend of mine, she is also a client and sometimes a colleague too. We have worked together a lot over the past few years. I am so happy she is on the podcast today, sharing her amazing wisdom.
Siân has a wealth of experience as a hypnotherapist and coach, she has well over a decade of experience and has worked with thousands of clients. She supports businesses with wellbeing and mental health.
Before the pandemic we worked together to develop new ways of supporting women through birth and recovery. As we were so frustrated with seeing wonderful women who were struggling to process a difficult birth experience. We wanted to put something far more holistic, that covered a more diverse range of experiences.
In this episode, we cover processing your birth experience, where to get advice and support if it didn’t go the way you hoped it would. Where to find advice and extra support if you had a traumatic experience.
We also talk about what we feel makes a great birth experience and recovery and the things that really matter.
Siân also covers preparing for birth if you have a more complicated relationship with your body. A history of trauma, rape, self-harm or eating disorders.
