Brianna Kothari Barnes works professionally as an actor, singer-songwriter, and composer/lyricist. She was a 2021 Finalist for The Jonathan Larson Grant. Her debut album, Hierophanies: Manifestations of the Sacred, made the first round on the 2021 GRAMMY Awards® ballot for consideration under Best Contemporary Christian Album. Her recent writing credits include the book, music, and lyrics for Rathskeller: A Musical Elixir which was recently featured in The SheAtlanta Summer Theater Festival and the music and lyrics for the Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway musical, Walking With Bubbles, which won the Off-Broadway Alliance Award Winner for Best Solo Performance. Brianna has performed professionally around the country at Florida Studio Theater, The Engeman Theater, The Wick Theater, Theatre Aspen, and Capital Repertory Theater and starred as Lucy in The National Tour of A Charlie Brown Christmas. She is headed to Maltz Jupiter Theater this winter to play Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
