در این قسمت از پادکست فلای باتل، زهرا پزشکیان با همایون کاتوزیان، عضو هیات علمی دپارتمان شرق شناسی دانشگاه آکسفورد، درباره  نظریه  جامعه کوتاه مدتش گفتگو می‌کند. در این گقنگو کاتوزیان ضمن تبیین جامعه کوتاه مدت ایران در مقابل جامعه بلند مدت اروپا اثرات این وضعیت را بر ساختار سیاسی، اجتماعی و اقتصادی ایران از گذشته تا به امروز بیان می کند.   همایون کاتوزیان تاریخ‌نگار، اقتصاددان و عضو هیات علمی دپارتمان شرق‌شناسی دانشگاه آکسفورد است. وی پس از یک سال تحصیل در رشته پزشکی به انگلستان رفت تا در رشته اقتصاد ادامه تحصیل دهد. کاتوزیان دکترای خود را در رشته اقتصاد از دانشگاه کنت در کانتربری انگلستان دریافت کرد.   زهرا پزشکیان دانش آموخته اقتصاد و سیاست گذاری عمومی از دانشگاه ساسکاچوان کانادا ست. وی در حال حاضر در حال گذراندن دوره طراحی و ارزیابی سیاست های اقتصادی و اجتماعی در MIT و آزمایشگاه اقدام علیه فقر عبداللطیف جمیل در آمریکا است. صدا: آرمین فرخ پی موسیقی:‌ رضا ندری پوستر: پویا فتوره‌چی نویسنده: زهرا پزشکیان تهیه‌کننده: یگانه خزاعی در پادکست فلای باتل   In this episode of the Fly Bottle podcast, Zahra Pezhkian talks with Homayoun Katouzian, a faculty member of the Oriental Studies Department at the University of Oxford, about his theory of short-term society. In this conversation, Katouzian explains the concept of Iran's short-term society in contrast to Europe's long-term society and discusses the impacts of this situation on Iran's political, social, and economic structure from the past to the present. Homayoun Katouzian is a historian, economist, and a faculty member of the Oriental Studies Department at the University of Oxford. Katouzian received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England.   Zahra Pezhkian is a graduate of Economics from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
