Have you ever felt like you’ve lost your spark? Do you have creative dreams but never seem to find the time? Do you feel like you’re giving too much energy to the wrong things or people and never have time for YOU? If so, you’re in the right place. Welcome to The Flow Habit podcast. Hi I’m Laurie Smith. Five years ago, that was me. I felt like I had lost my connection with my best, Truest Self. To feel like I had some sort of control in a world that felt like it was out of control, I challenged myself to do something everyday that I absolutely loved to do AND that had a high chance of getting me in flow (you know, that feeling when you’re so into what you’re doing that you lose track of time). I called it my 28-Day Flow Challenge. Since that time, I’ve led hundreds of highly creative people around the world--like YOU!-- in this simple process. I’ve been absolutely amazed by the results. Here’s the thing--you are already a Flow Expert. You already know what it will take to change your life get it flowing again. The key is creating a safe space to hear your own wisdom and act on it, a few minutes at a time. When we make conscious what we are already doing unconsciously, that’s when we gain the power to change our lives. In each episode of The Flow Habit podcast, I’ll be sharing the secrets I’ve been learning about flow while creating a safe space so you can uncover your own creative secrets too. We’ll also be talking to others who will be sharing their flow secrets, and I’ll be leading you through simple everyday exercises you can do to reclaim your power, reconnect with your creative spark, and redesign your life so that it works for YOU! You’ve got this, my friend, and the good news is, there’s a whole community of creative friends like you ready to cheer you on every step of the way. If you’re ready to feel inspired, energized, and to leap out of bed each morning, excited to share your unique creative gifts with the world, this is the podcast for you. Put down that to-do list--you know, that list of all those things you think you SHOULD be doing instead, turn off the ringer on your phone, and take a deep breath. We’re going to do this together.
