Our country's sands are shifting, requiring you to orient and adjust spiritually. You need objective optimism these days and it comes from having wisdom, knowledge, discretion and understanding as taught in God’s Word. “How blessed is the man who finds wisdom and gains understanding” (Prov 3:13-15). It’s time for you to be spiritually cognitively independent, to stand on your own. Learning and applying God’s Word in your life has to be your top priority. The Lord told His disciples and us, “These things I have spoken to you that you should not be made to stumble” (John 16:1). In the days ahead, you’re going to have opportunities to glorify God as you’ve never had before. Don’t miss the big picture of why God equips you and leaves you here on earth. You have a great responsibility to re-present Jesus Christ by means of word and deed.
