Just a few hours before set time I had no idea what my set would be like. I brought many tracks, some of my own new productions, classics and a lot of new stuff. I was aware of my set being during the last night of the festival. After three full days, that means people are nourished with so much music and different genres. I really wanted to create a moment of nostalgia and emotion. We definitely got there together! Me by mixing fave classics with big twists & rhythms and by blending genres as I love to. I found a way to tell a story that represents: The Flexican, Young Flex Mid-Life Flex and the New Flex. So many people asked me during Lowlands: ‘What are you gonna play? Is it different than the Old Flex?’ I only thought: ‘I have no idea what will happen in the moment.’ This is how I am used to DJ, improvising with the crowd. I can think of many things beforehand, but the moment I am behind the decks it is new, fresh, surprising and I feel what is needed for the energy. Truly enjoyed every second of it, with a fully packed crowd and my favourite people in the booth. You all made these two hours a highlight ❤️‍🔥
