Lloyd Mitchell. First-Hand Account of The Devastating Bronx Apartment Fire. Philadelphia’s Apartment Tragedy. Colorado Wildfires. Nav is Back.
Content Warning: This episode contains graphic content.  Welcome back to the hottest podcast in America, literally. Hosted by FDNY Hero and renowned advocate for firefighters, Rob Serra.  Over the first dozen shows we explored some of New York’s historic fires and worst events with heroic first responders that were there. Sadly on January 9, 2022, New York experienced what will be another historic fire. And we’ve got another first hand account of this terrible event from a slightly different perspective than we normally bring. Rob is joined by the brilliant freeelance photographer Lloyd Mitchell. As the catastrophic event unfolded in the Bronx, Mitchell captured the images that will live on forever. Iconic images that you’ll never forget. When the news is about a fire, it’s never good. And the last weeks have had a lot of stories about fires. From Colorado to Philadelphia the New Year seemed to bring a lot of fire with it. But we’ve got the voices to help guide you through those times. The voices that give you the information you need to help you make the right decisions and make sure you’re as safe as possible. Richard Naviasky, Rob’s guest in Episode 1, drops in to help lend his perspective. Always a helper. Always a hero.  And you can be a hero. Help the victims of this fire restart their lives. Donate here.
