And today’s episode nails it again. 89-year-old Don Blaskovich was there for one of New York’s deadliest fires, the infamous Wooster Street Collapse on Valentine’s Day, 1958. You read that right. 1958. It was a tragic story that led to a lot of changes. Changes in how fires were fought. And changes in how they were prevented. And Don was there, first hand. It’s a great one, you don’t want to miss.
Don takes us back to another era. He shares stories that are going to sound real familiar. Some things never change. And sometimes, that’s a good thing.
