Podcast number 21 of The Fire That Burns is all about folk and viking metal from the Kingdom Of Denmark. Your host Søren Weiss wen't to the Faroe Islands in the end of February 2022 to take part in the 20 years celebration-concert of "How Far to Asgard" and the release of "A Night At The Nordic House" by TÝR. After the show Søren Weiss spoke with TÝR singer/guitarist Heri Joensen at the venue.
Denmark's Svartsot just released their new album "Kumbl". An all Danish folk metal record with some classic medieval folk tunes adapted into the classic Svartsot metalstyle.
And finally Søren Weiss is speaking with some of the members from the new Danish folk metal band Trold at the Viborg Metal Festival.
