George Gorg is a Bulgarian-born model, content creator and founder of Bestie Skincare, known for her powerful voice in the modeling industry. Raised by a supportive mother, whom she lovingly calls her "soft angel," and a strong sister, George grew up in an environment of acceptance, never facing judgment for her identity.
Coming out as a trans woman was a deeply challenging experience, but her mother’s encouragement to embrace her true self provided invaluable support. George reflects on the struggle of having her identity politicized, stressing the importance of authenticity and self-expression. She opens up about the times when being queer felt outwardly more like a political statement than a simple act of living her truth, sharing the dehumanizing experiences she faced along the way.
Starting her modeling career at 13, George faced pressure to conform to traditional gender norms. However, she later found success in London, where she could model on her own terms. She also faced struggles with acne, which inspired her to collaborate with a team of Bulgarian dermatologists to create ‘Bestie’ Skincare—products that empower, heal, and nourish.
A passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, George believes that women should be free to evolve, embrace their full potential, and reject the limiting narratives of patriarchy. She champions the strength and creativity abilities of women, reminding us all that women are capable of so much more than the world often acknowledges.
