Just Watched Weapons (2025) — Armed with Potential, Shooting Blanks
We went in curious. We came out questioning our life choices. From Zach Cregger (Barbarian), Weapons starts with a chilling premise — an entire classroom of kids disappears into the night. Julia Garner and Josh Brolin lead the search… and then things take a sharp turn into territory we didn’t expect (or want). In this 24-minute review, we cover: Spoiler-free first impressions Why the structure and pacing didn’t work for us The “big reveal” that had our theater laughing (probably not on purpose) What this movie does have going for it (yes, there’s something) If you loved Barbarian, you might find something here. If you didn’t — well, you’ve been warned. 📍Next week: Dangerous Animals Follow us everywhere: @thefearreview#WeaponsMovie #HorrorMovieReview #HorrorPodcast #thefearreview #thefearisfamily #couplegoals #marriedlife
