Since the beginning of humanity, stories have been told about the beasts and creatures that stalk the night. Unexplained murders and vicious attacks became pinned on these beast-men and legends were woven of vicious warriors becoming like animals on the battlefield. Hear that howling in the distance? Lock the doors, grab the silver and your wolfsbane, and brace yourself for the coming of -- the Werewolves.

This week I'll be reading an old Irish Folktale that inspired Stephen King's The Cycle of the Werewolf, then I'll dive into the long history of lycanthropes, how the lore has grown and changed with the rise of the monster movie, and cover whom I believe are the five best werewolves of all time.
