Born in Tunisia and having spent his formative years across various African countries, Malcolm's multicultural background greatly contributes to his adaptability and global perspective. His mother hails from Zimbabwe, further deepening his African roots. This diverse upbringing instilled in him an unparalleled ability to understand and navigate cultural nuances, a skill that has proven invaluable in his professional journey.
Malcolm's career began in the oil and gas sector, where he spent a decade spearheading strategic projects. However, upon becoming a father, he had a change of heart and sought a career that would allow him to contribute to a more sustainable future for his daughters. He pursued an MBA at ESADE and later transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, where he worked at Novartis.
In 2021, Malcolm co-founded coatingAI, a startup employing AI to revolutionize the coating industry. He harnessed his expertise in AI to automate coating processes, boosting efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
In 2023, Malcolm embarked as an independent consultant, aiding businesses in integrating generative AI into their workflows. His belief in the transformative power of AI fuels his commitment to helping other enterprises unlock the potential of this groundbreaking technology.
Away from his professional commitments, Malcolm cherishes time with his daughters at the lake in Bregenz, Austria. He enjoys teaching them about AI, particularly ChatGPT, which they often ask him to query due to its vast knowledge base.
