In this episode, Coach Caleb welcomes Satya Doyle Byock, author of “Quarterlife: The Search for Self in Early Adulthood,” to the Experience-Oriented Fitness Podcast for a discussion on a broad range of topics including how we treat our bodies in fitness, how culture and society has influenced the way we treat our bodies generally, their shared passion for Jungian psychology, and much more.
Satya is a practicing psychotherapist in Portland, Oregon, and the director of The Salome Institute of Jungian Studies, where she teaches online. She is also the co-host of the (now completed) podcast on Carl Jung’s Red Book, and writes for her Substack, “The Quarterlifer.” Satya’s clinical work, teaching, and writing draw influences from a few primary areas, including Jungian psychology, trauma research, and social justice advocacy.
