Ep. 24 - I Stop Men from Buying Women and Children | Tom Perez & Benjamin Nolot

In this week’s episode of the Exodus Cry Podcast, we sit down with the founder and CEO of the Epik Project, Tom Perez. Epik Project actively disrupts sex buying, intervening at the point of sale to shed light on the reality of that transaction.

Benjamin and Tom discuss the demand side of trafficking, touching on his experiences working with sex buyers and analyzing the culture that has groomed men to feel sexually entitled to another’s body.

In 2010, Tom began engaging in the anti-trafficking fight and quickly noticed that while men are the primary drivers behind the demand that fuels sex trafficking, very few were practically involved in effective efforts to abolish it. His vision to create meaningful onramps for men to join this fight has resulted in the training, equipping and support of hundreds of volunteer men across 20 cities in North America.
