In a culture where truth is either fake or diluted, ‘The Eulogy’ is for real people, about genuine issues, and exposing those who intentionally hide it. Author Dr. Diahanne Rhiney, honours and celebrates the ‘lived’ experiences of influencers in our community with her powerful interviews where she says what she means and means what she says whilst applying ‘forensic evidence’ to investigate the truth behind biased questions, decisions and actions that penetrates our multicultural society. She confronts social and institutional barriers that block justice for all, indicts those responsible, and raises awareness for future generations.

In this The Eulogy Special, Dr Diahanne Rhiney chats to Jay Blades of The Repair Shop about his new book release: 'Making It: How Love, Kindness and Community Helped Me Repair My Life'.
From humble Hackney beginnings, Diahanne and Jay Blades discuss his journey over the years, the people and situations that shaped him and how his experiences allowed him to iteratively reflect and develop himself. Jay and Diahanne reflect on their friendship, discuss the role of dyslexia in Jay's life, how the police and racism shaped him, the role of different women throughout Jay's life and how learning affection has become a significant part of Jay's later life. They chat through some of the events recounted in Jay's memoir and laugh over his friends' reluctance to go partying with him due to his proclivity for bar fights, amongst other things, his family, his TV career on The Repair Shop, and the legacy he is building.
