Yasin is a longtime family friend, and this was my first time visiting his home and seeing him in person in nearly a decade. His story is remarkable—growing up in Pakistan, immigrating to the U.S. in pursuit of the American Dream, and building both a thriving medical practice and successful real estate ventures. Along the way, he achieved great success but also came dangerously close to losing it all.
His journey is a powerful reminder that anyone can start from nothing and create the life they want. Now in his 60s, Yasin is having more fun than ever, diving into new development projects that keep his mind sharp and engaged.
One of my biggest takeaways: Yasin doesn’t pursue wealth out of insatiable desire—he simply loves the process. Why stop doing something you enjoy? And as he puts it, keeping your mind busy is one of the best defenses against decline later in life.
