Edgren notes that regulators are starting to include PFAS chemicals in regulatory instruments, and states are being aggressive in addressing the contamination. She also highlights the supply chain disruption that will occur as major manufacturers like 3M discontinue products containing PFAS, emphasizing the need for manufacturers to consider the broader impact of PFAS regulations on their operations.
