In a time when politics have seemingly infiltrated (read: poisoned) everything in our lives, the optimist in me hopes we can still rise above it. After all, today's political climate is embarrassing at best and evil at worst; it leaves so much more to be desired. Choosing to craft one's identity beyond a political party (or job, family name, religious group, school, etc.) can be a reflection of growth and maturity. The ultimate growth mindset is realizing you may be wrong and the other guy may be right. Otherwise, the blinders of limitation cause disrespect in both our fellow man and ourselves. Take time to redefine your why; your future self will thank you. Tune in, won’t you?
