This episode is titled “Law and Disorder x Law and Order”

Zavier Bawo Ayida is delighted to have hosted Milambo Makani and Panashe Jinga. Special congrats to my man Troy Banxz who is currently charging up following his graduation in his Masters at Bournemouth University.

Get ready for stories that are about to blow your mind. Black Excellence only.

Milambo is a lawyer at an international law firm and is building several social enterprises. One of these enterprises include Knockout Crime, which he co-founded with Dwayne Mukasa. This initiative seeks to help young people involved in knife crime, gun crime and gang culture. He is also building another social enterprise called the Widening Access Network, which helps young people achieve their aspirations, so that they can see careers and choices that are beyond their environment and life.

Milambo is also a co-host of a Podcast called Starting Up, Starting Out with Jessica Agboola which shares more of their stories whilst giving strategies and tools for entrepreneurs to thrive in the business world.

Outside of work, Milambo is an amateur boxer. He trains five times a week and competes against other boxing clubs. In 2017, he won a gold medal at the BUCS Boxing Championships.

Panashe Jinga is a Corporate Lawyer, who grew up in the council estates of Leeds. In 2016, Panashe was offered a scholarship by an elite international law firm which aims to increase the disproportionate representation of black men in large city law firms. His youth was plagued by stop and searches by the police and being exposed to roads. Panashe is a blooming graduate from LSE with with a First Class Honours in Law.

A former actor, featuring in Television Shows such as Waterloo Roads. Panashe continues to experiment and learn the craft of Rap. With interests in HipHop and Spoken Poetry.
