Bio:

Thiago Chaer has more than 15 years of experience in the innovation and digital technology sector. He has served as a mentor to EdTech startups at TecLabs, Latin America’s first edtech accelerator based at the prestigious Technologico de Monterrey in Mexico, as a consultant researching and reporting on the digital transformation of Brazilian education for The Economist, he’s a speaker, a columnist, and he co-authored the Educational Data Privacy Commitment. In 2016, Thiago founded Future Education®, the first accelerator in Brazil dedicated to educational entrepreneurship. Future Education® has accelerated more than 40 EdTechs and trained professionals from some of the largest education companies in Brazil impacting more than 500,000 students, 2,600 schools, and 20,000 teachers.
