FREE PRACTICE: Building Vagal Tone for Growing Nervous System Capacity with Dr. NIKI ELLIOTT

In this enlightening episode, our expert speaker Dr. Niki discusses the importance of building vagal tone to enhance nervous system capacity. Emphasizing the value of breathwork and physical movement, she shares insights on how coherent breathing, combined with mindful practices, can help recondition the nervous system.

She will guide us in some exercises suitable for performing in an office chair, providing practical tools for stress regulation.

You can do them standing if you prefer that in the moment.

Dr. Niki highlights the importance of trauma-informed approaches, especially when dealing with neurodiverse populations and those with high trauma. To delve deeper into trauma-informed breathwork practices, she recommends to get properly trained.

This practice is part of a larger conversation Liz had with dr Niki for The Embodied Educator Summit Series. You can find the full episode #51 Transforming Educational Spaces Through Embodiment and Equity with DR. NIKI ELLIOTT here
