His field of research is Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Microbiology, Oncology and Carcinogenesis.
His work centres on understanding the biological processes that cause us to age and develop diseases associated with age.
Professor Derek works with an internationally regarded research team dedicated to curing cancer.
