In Episode 7, The Elephant Whose House is on Fire, we confront the emotional toll of the climate and biodiversity crisis. Why do so many of us, even when we see the floods and fires, feel apathetic or overwhelmed? How do personal priorities, social pressures, and a sense of powerlessness shape our inaction? We explore the complexities of talking about climate change with friends, the struggle to balance personal responsibility with systemic change, and the anxiety about planning for a future on a warming planet. Can we find the emotional resilience to face these truths—and act on them?
