Takashi Kawatani is a Cross-cultural Management Consultant, assisting trouble-shooting of cross-cultural issues at Japanese organizations, local businesses, and government bodies in 20 countries since 1986. He is active in ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, a political and economic union of ten nations including Japan. He is also President of the Diversity Management Institute of Japan, Japan’s first consulting company carrying the name “diversity”. Kawatani is also a prolific writer, having authored 13 books including one on Malaysian beetles.
