Leaders can often see themselves as built proof. They see themselves as the ones that lead the way, channeling their energy to keep the team on top of things and to get the best possible outcomes for the organization
We may have a belief of being stoic, of being the martyr, invincible and bulletproof.
It is great to see a changing of the guard in this respect. Seeing yourself as invincible is the short way to create burnout, health issues and ultimately make poor decisions from leader fatigue.
