Episode 128 – Chapter 2 and 3 of Deadhouse Gates by Steven Erikson
In this episode we see the beginning tremors of a violent rebellion brewing in the Seven Cities.  Fiddler rescues two girls, then passes on an opportunity at ascendency.  Kalam gets played.  Icarium reads some books.  Also, things get strange.
Trigger Warning: In this episode we discuss trauma; specifically sexual trauma.
Predictions:

Heboric and Baudin are planning to escape and leave Felisin, but will take her (or she’ll follow) at the final moment.  They aren’t telling her because they don’t trust her.
There is a cave in the lake.
Heboric will die during this book.
The Dosii will revolt.
The Spirit Walkers Song will be an element that arises in a future book.
Fiddler is a mage.
Trell will betray Icarium.
Iskaral Pust put those books in this “library” on purpose.  He is trying to draw something out of Icarium.

Our next episode will cover Chapters 4 and 5 of Deadhouse Gates by Steven Erikson.
