I am psyched to share with you the first interview here on The Drum Shed. I had the honor and privilege to chat with Dylan Carey from the rock band Jam Poetry last week. Dylan is a former student of mine, a killer drummer, an all around fantastic musician, and most of all a great person! It had been quite a while since Dylan and I got the chance to catch up, so this was a blast.
I hope you enjoy our discussion. My goal for this interview series is to provide a way for you all in our π₯ community to learn from the pros, hear their musical journeys, and get inspiration to learn new things on our instrument.
Definitely let me know what you think in the comments below!
