A conversation with Aum Siok Sian Pek-Dorji, based on her article in the Democracy Today issue of The Druk Journal (Spring 2022). Siok Sian Pek-Dorki is the founder of the Bhutan Centre for Media & Democracy (BCMD) and is currently the adviser at BCMD. A media and communication specialist, she carries out research and training. She has produced documentaries and publications and contributed articles to various publications, both international and Bhutanese. She is a consultant interested in social, cultural, and literary trends.
