We discuss Dr. Love’s non-profit Steps 4 Love, which is “dedicated to restoring hope by empowering individuals with limb loss and diminished limbs to overcome challenges by providing medical devices, social assistance, and access to healthcare professionals with continual support in achieving maximal quality of life.” Further discussion includes barriers to access for individuals with limb loss and the psychosocial aspect of recovery.
